Parties at MBC
Because of the quiet surroundings and family-friendly amenities, the Memorial Bend Club (MBC) is an ideal venue for your personal parties: birthday parties, end-of-year or back-to-school class parties, family reunions, BBQ’s, organization summer parties, or just-because-it’s-Friday parties.
When do I need to make a reservation for a party?
You must contact the MBC party coordinator at least 10 business days before you’d like to schedule a party. Party reservations are necessary only for parties larger than 15 people due to lifeguard needs.
How do I schedule a party?
Contact the MBC party coordinator at memorialbendclub@gmail.com. Be sure to contact us within 10 business days of your event – or earlier!
When is the pool available for rental?
The pool is available year-round for rental. If you use the pool during the off-season months (any month outside May – September), there will be an additional $50 fee for off-season lifeguard duties.
Can I rent the grounds for a party (rather than the pool)?
Yes. See the chart below for applicable costs.
When can I have a private party?
During the summer season, you may schedule a private party for any day that the pool is closed to the members, which usually falls on weekdays during May and Mondays during the rest of the summer.
If you plan to have a party in May, please know that swim team practice may bring extra pool closures. Be sure to allow enough time in planning your party.
During the off-season, you may schedule a private party for any date as long as lifeguards are available.
What is the difference between a private party and a semi-private party?
A private party is one that is scheduled outside of regular operating hours and the guests have exclusive use of the facility.
A semi-private party is one that is scheduled during regular operating hours and the guests must share the facility with other patrons. We will, however, rope off a section of the pavilion and grills for your exclusive use.

*If more than 40-50 guests, will need 4 lifeguards per hr, which is $100/hr.
There is an additional refundable $50 maintenance deposit. The party area must be cleaned and trash removed prior to refund.

MBC can only accommodate one event at a time.
MBC requires a minimum of ten (10) days notice to book a party. In addition, there is a $50 refundable maintenance deposit.
Due to insurance regulation, we require that all guests attending an event, including parents, be included in your total count of guests.
